[Charles should have been paying more attention to the comings and goings of his little mining town. But there's paperwork to be seen to, and the legality of some imports to mind and sort out and as it is, it's only the arrival of his deputy that lets him know that Erik's back in town. Naturally, he can't tell by his mind, the bastard's seen to that. Thanking the young man, he pulls on his coat from the back of his chair, settles his gunbelt (futile, futile) and sets out towards the saloon. What Erik thinks he's doing, coming here, he has no idea. What does he get by walking into Charles' town: is it just to prove he's the one in charge? That Charles can't stop him, Erik makes his own rules? Erik has another think coming.
